Hitting Mainnet at Full Speed
Orange Ecosystem Update
The Orange ecosystem continues to grow on every front. This update brings the latest progress on network readiness, wallet growth, creator tools, and what to expect as we move into the final stage before mainnet.
Launching With Millions
Orange isn’t creeping onto mainnet, it’s arriving with a built-in audience of more than 2.5 million active accounts.
For context, the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance estimated that in 2016, the total number of active cryptocurrency wallet users worldwide was between 2.9 million and 5.8 million. Ethereum’s own user base was tiny when it launched, only 33 thousand wallets existed in late 2015 and still less than 150 thousand by the second quarter of 2016.
By preparing 2.5 million active accounts for immediate onboarding, Orange starts off larger than many established chains were in their early years. This scale brings immediate liquidity, active communities, and network effects that compound from the first block.
Proven at Scale
Before switching on mainnet, Orange has already stress-tested its infrastructure. The Orange testnet has already processed 38 million on-chain actions and over 22 million game plays to date, proving it can handle real-world demand.
That level of activity matches or exceeds what some established networks achieved in their first years of operation, and proves Orange can handle real-world demand. AvaLabs and AvaCloud, the team behind Avalanche, continue to support the rollout, providing the same battle-tested speed and security that power the Avalanche ecosystem.
Early-Adopter Benefits
Mainnet will reward early participants: the first one million wallets on Orange L1 receive a 5 $ORNG welcome bonus, credited automatically, while early joiners also earn Go3, the XP token that tracks engagement and influences future drops.
Every transaction used to issue these bonuses burns $JUC, so even onboarding contributes to the deflationary economy.
Momentum and Adoption
The Orange community isn’t waiting for mainnet, it’s already growing at an accelerating pace. Wallet holders in $ORNG rose from 5,758 on 1 September to 17,996 by 9 October - a +212% increase in just over a month. That momentum means new creators, gamers and explorers join daily, and being early still matters.
This is exactly where we wanted to be leading into mainnet.
Every wallet and on-chain action fuels the ecosystem. With mainnet around the corner, every $ORNG holder is already part of a creator economy that’s only just beginning to scale.
Sustainable Tokenomics
Orange’s token model continues to perform as designed, with testnet data confirming sustainable growth, consistent $JUC burn, and fixed $ORNG supply ahead of mainnet.
$ORNG — The Ecosystem & Governance Token
Circulating supply: 386 million $ORNG
Locked reserve: 614 million $ORNG, timelocked until July 2026
No new emissions or unlocks until that date
This keeps supply fixed during the network’s early expansion and preserves $ORNG scarcity while activity scales.
$ORNG will be required to operate validator nodes when proof-of-stake activates, anchor every new token launched through Orange’s creator suites, and act as the settlement asset for in-game economies and micro-markets.
$JUC — The Gas & Rewards Token
Maximum supply: 3 billion $JUC
580 million $JUC reserved for rewards and validators
Around 200 million $JUC held in the treasury
Every mainnet transaction burns $JUC during the first 12 months. To remove friction, Orange will initially cover gas fees for users. Transactions execute seamlessly while the network quietly burns $JUC behind the scenes.
Together these mechanics mean $JUC supply begins shrinking from day one, while $ORNG supply remains fixed until 2026. For holders, that creates a simple, transparent balance: more network activity means more $JUC burned, and $ORNG scarcity strengthens over time.
Empowering Creators
While the network scales, creators continue to push the limits of what’s possible.
VibeCodingList: $ORNG Credits for Creators
Creators can now add token-powered credit systems to their apps or games in minutes. The new Orange ID Web3 Credit System Template lets you deploy instantly on Replit and accept ERC-20 tokens ($ORNG by default) as in-app credits.
Even better, you don’t need an existing app to start. With a single prompt, you can spin up your own game or experience that runs on the credit system, no complex setup, no integrations, just a few lines and you’re live.
Why it matters:
Users deposit once, receive credits, and spend inside your app with no gas prompts.
You set the pricing logic, it feels Web2-simple but runs fully on-chain.
Orange ID handles authentication, and real-time blockchain listeners track deposits.
It’s the easiest way to make $ORNG your in-app currency and build genuine token utility around your project.
Upload1983: The Bounty Protocol Approaches
Upload1983 is one of the first creator-led projects to reach real market traction on Orange. Its token, $YOU, became the first vibe-coded project to cross a $1M market cap, showing how story-driven, community-built tokens can thrive in a live creator economy. Read the full story here →
Now, the Upload community is gearing up for its next phase. Operatives have been relentless and are averaging four-hour sessions as they work to unlock the Bounty Protocol, the gateway to Upload’s first staking phase and the beginning of a new era in the $YOU universe.
$YOU Staking: Launching with a 10M $YOU reward pool over three months for the first 200 participants, followed by additional earning opportunities throughout the year and next.
The Three Trials: The Bounty Protocol is the first in a trilogy of universe-defining puzzles, each carrying significant token rewards for the first to solve them.
Generative Worldbuilding: Participants are co-creating the next chapter of Upload1983, with the winner’s rewards autostaked in its own 10M $YOU staking pool, until the final phase of this chapter is solved, leaving a permanent mark on the world they helped build.
XROSS: Worlds, Crystals & Avatars
Since its token launch, XROSS has expanded fast:
The Xross Keep world is live inside Orange Worlds, giving holders an immersive narrative hub.
The new Vibe-Crystal system bridges $XROSS to interactive assets, letting holders unlock and collect content.
The Beatling Avatar Collection now includes 30+ avatars, fully integrated with Orange Worlds.
As always, Orange highlights community projects but does not endorse or guarantee them. Always DYOR.
The Network Is Warming Up
The Orange economy is already moving ahead of mainnet.
$ORNG becomes the default currency.
With tools like the VibeCodingList credit system live, creators can now let users spend $ORNG inside their apps or games for unlocks, upgrades, or entries. No gas prompts, no extra wallets. It is the missing UX layer that turns $ORNG into a daily utility token, not just a reward.
Creator Tournaments
After a round of UX upgrades and an improved flow, $ORNG-prize tournaments are kicking off again this month. Creators can now publish their mobile games and run tournaments directly on Orange Games, monetising through $ORNG while explorers compete, earn Go3, and feed new creator economies. The play-to-earn loop done right.
Go3 Rewards go network-wide
What began as XP inside Orange Games now extends across the full ecosystem. Apps, worlds, and creator tokens can all plug in to reward real participation, from logins to missions to referrals. Every Orange ID earns Go3 based on genuine engagement, giving creators a transparent way to grow loyal audiences.
Community Token Launcher
The new Community Token Launcher is set to open to the community, giving anyone the ability to launch and list their own token. Simple, fast, and $ORNG-backed, it supports everything from creator economies to meme coins. Every launch connects back to the network, adding new tokens, holders, and volume to the Orange economy.
New projects, new jobs.
Community job boards and bounties are opening up for artists, developers, and world builders. This is how Orange expands with funded roles and open collaborations directly inside the network.

In Closing
Mainnet is the next chapter, but the movement has already begun.
Creators are building. Explorers are earning. $ORNG is flowing through apps, worlds, and games before mainnet is even live.
When mainnet goes live, it won’t just mark a launch. It will mark a handover, from early proof to full-scale participation, where every creator can monetise, every explorer can earn, and every $ORNG holder becomes part of the ecosystem driving the creator economy forward.
